We would encourage you to simply start feeling whatever it is that wants to arise in you. If you can handle it, then stop smoking. But as long as you smoke it, at least make a commitment to yourself that when the marijuana is in your system, you will allow yourself to feel your feelings. The reason why we say this is because there is a part of you that is afraid if you felt the feelings, they would never end. But we promise you that if you open up your mind and heart and body completely to feeling what wants to arise in the moment without judgment or control, over time those feelings will become more and more manageable. So our suggestion would be that from this day forth, whenever you take marijuana into your system, let it be a doorway for feeling whatever wants to arise within the safety of your own home.
